How it all started…
My journey didn’t begin in a fancy culinary school or restaurant kitchen. It began in a tiny apartment, with a single pot of water, a plastic bag, and a borrowed thermometer.
I had just watched a video about Sous Vide cooking – a method I had never heard of until that week. I was fascinated by the idea of cooking something slowly, gently, and perfectly.
So I tried it.
My first Sous Vide steak wasn’t just good – it was incredible. Tender, juicy, evenly cooked all the way through.
It was a moment I’ll never forget. That meal didn’t just taste amazing – it made me feel empowered.
That’s when I realized:

I live somewhere between structure and creativity. I love a perfect temperature setting just as much as I love adding a sprinkle of something unexpected.

Family, food, and the moments that matter most
If there’s one place where my cooking truly comes to life—it’s in my home, with my family.
I’m married to my best friend, and together we’re raising two beautiful, wildly curious little girls:
Emma (6) — the official “taste tester” who always insists on being the first to try every new recipe… even if it’s just steamed broccoli.
And Sophie (2) — our messy spoon-wielding tornado who thinks flour is confetti and the kitchen is her playground.

One of my favorite memories happened on a rainy Sunday. I was testing a new sous vide chicken recipe, trying to perfect the seasoning. The kitchen was a mess— toys underfoot, music playing low, Sophie covered in mashed potatoes, and Emma standing on a chair next to me, holding the thermometer like a scientist.
When we sat down together to eat that meal — the chicken came out just right — and both girls looked at me like I had created magic. That moment reminded me why I do this.
